Recent Highlights:

·         Fall 2016 meeting: The fall 2016 meeting was held on November 3, 2016 on the campus of Central Michigan University in Pearce Hall, Room 138 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Our Keynote speaker was Professor Karan Singh of the Department of Medicine’s Division of Preventive Medicine, University of Alabama at Birmingham, Alabama. During the business meeting, the following Chapter officers were elected to a two-year term, starting on January 1, 2017.

·         Spring 2016 meeting: The Spring 2016 meeting was held on April 7, 2016 on the campus of Central Michigan University in Pearce Hall, Room 138 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. ·         Fall 2015 meeting: The fall 2015 meeting was held on November 12, 2015 on the campus of Michigan State University in C405 Wells Hall from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Our guest speaker was Dr. Gustavo de los Campos, Departments of Epidemiology & Biostatistics and Probability & Statistics, Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan. ·         Spring 2015 meeting: The Spring 2015 meeting was held on March 19, 2015 on the campus of Central Michigan University in Pearce Hall, Room 138 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. ·         Fall 2014 meeting: The fall 2014 meeting was held on November 4, 2014 on the campus of Michigan State University in C405 Wells Hall from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Our guest speaker was Dr. Douglas Nychka, Director of Institute for Mathematics Applied to Geosciences, National Center for Atmospheric Research, Boulder, CO. ·         Spring 2014 meeting: The Spring 2014 meeting was held on April 3, 2014 on the campus of Central Michigan University in Pearce Hall, Room 138 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. ·         The Mathematics Department at Central Michigan University organized and hosted an International Conference on Statistical Distributions and Applications from October 10-12, 2013. For more information, visit the conference website at  http://people.cst.cmich.edu/lee1c/ICOSDA/. Over 115 participants from more than 20 countries all over the world attended the conference.

·         Fall 2013 meeting: The fall 2013 meeting was held on October 15, 2013 on the campus of Michigan State University in C405 Wells Hall from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Our guest speaker was Professor Mei-Ling Lee, Director of Biostatistics and Risk Assessment Center, University of Maryland, College Park, MD. For more information on the talk, click here.

·         Spring 2013 meeting: The Spring 2013 meeting was held on April 4, 2013 on the campus of Central Michigan University in Pearce Hall Room 138 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. ·         Fall 2012 meeting: The Fall 2012 meeting was held on October 25, 2012 at Central Michigan University. Election took place for new officers for the term 2012-2014. Our guest speaker was Dr. Carl Lee.

·         Spring 2012 meeting: The Spring 2012 meeting was held on April 19 at Michigan State University. Our guest speaker was Tim Rey, Director of Advanced Analytics at Dow.
